The Lilith Fund is made up of a group of volunteers who envision a society in which equal access to abortion is guaranteed for all women, regardless of economic situation. They oppose all efforts to restrict abortion rights and are committed to fighting for access to health care for all women.

Last year, the Lilith Fund helped 837 women who otherwise would not have been able to afford an abortion. The hotline provides a safe and confidential connection to healthcare services often restricted by today’s political climate around abortion, and their case managers offer financial and pregnancy options counseling to clients, working with area health clinics that also supply birth control and other reproductive health information and services.

In addition to providing financial assistance to women, the Lilith Fund maintainsa blog, Lilith's Voice, where volunteers share insights about the real-life situations faced by the Fund's clients, who often face a multitude of obstacles to health care, including poverty, language barriers, and transportation barriers.

For abortion funds, raising money is half the battle, because they can’t help women unless they have something to give.  Donating to your local abortion fund means giving a woman the resources she needs to make the choice that is right for her.
